caught 3 scorpions..

was cleaning out the shed in the back. when i took out some rims i'm holding for a friend, there was scorpions sleeping under them. i saw the old shells they shedded. i caught 2 the first time, one smal one big, then another got away as i was cleaning up more. then caught another one when i was putting stuff back in the shed.

i never seen a scorpion in person before till today. i always thought we never had em here but i heard there was. i had them in this plastic container i had for my fish. stupid thing is i was gonna keep them to show to friends. but when i got home, some one put the tweezers i used to picked them up in the container and 2 of the bigger ones clumbed out. only the lil one was still in side. i was so pissed and i asked everyone who did it but no one said they did it. damn i just gotta check my shoes now when i goto work. maybe i can get a pic up soon.

Seen some scorpions in the hills up in Koko Head. I'm surprised you caught them...I'd have freaked out like a little girl.

A scorpion greeted me and my family when we first move into our current house.

So if the Oscar swallowed the Scorpion with the stinger, would the scorpion poke the fish and the fish would die?

not necessarily... but one of my arowanas died after eating a scorpion w/a stinger still in tact.... thats why i say remove em.

im pretty sure there not that bad like other parts of the world. im guessing maybe like a bee or a wasp sting. they really small too so not too much of a threat. just pain.
