car show opinion
Well, since ive been sick ive been doing alot of thinkin and pondering about the direction of my car as for car shows and everything. Some say I should put it in the show, some say I have a long way to go (i agree), and some have sat down with me and told me its just not worth it. These are guys who have had their cars in shows, won the trophies. I wont mention names but one said that yeah my car is nice, i think so, you think so, alot of other guys think so, so why prove it to the world. to me that makes alot of sense. I mean DA** I kinda feel like i spent all that dough on car parts, tuning, interior for what, not just to please me, the wife hates the **** as well, so im thinkin, to car show or not to car show. Let me know if you guys have advice or suggestions or what u would do.
Maybe its time for a new hobby?

well, there are a lot of cars that enter their cars into shows, but is not even worthy enuff, not necessarily the subaru community. It's a good experience and I think if it pleases you, then do it. I am hearing that a lot of duff cars are entering this next august show

word to the wise! if your in it for the money, don't even try because its not worth it! but if you what to show people your pride and joy, all the hard work you put into it, i'd say go for it! i entered in 02 my 1st show, just wanted to see how the import/carshow seen was. It was a good and wild experience. loved it dude! If you do enter don't expect to win any thing because if you do and you don't win, you'll be really sad!. if you do win you can also get sad because you didn't win 1st.
Long story short theres ups and downs when entering. I think you should enter but you better start fixing to show quality now!! i'll see you there if you enter!!!

I'll post up my honest opinion. Show cars are show cars. I personally don't have any use for them. They're typically slammed, huge wheels, and heavy. I'd rather have a car that performs first and looks good second. Just me. My flame suit is on, but quite honestly I just don't give a f@uk!

Go for it ! Personally I'd rather build a car for performance , but building a car for show is also a worthy endeavor in it's own right . Good luck , with your project .............
