I really like my car and If I can just swap the tranny instead of buying a new car just to broaden my driving skills then it's worth it since I'd have to start all over again with an STI or EVO!

If you really like your car then keep it. You already have the car going fast, just do a few more mods....doesn't seem to make sense to purchase a new car if you already have a relatively fast car. The STi won't make you a better driver...
