Some of these guys I see are just plain hacking and others are just plain bad. There will be games I can go 26-7 consistently, then some games I will go 1:1 kdr. Terminal guarantees me instant high score because some people are just dumb. I can get scavenger pro, claymore equipment loadout, chill near the entry attachment corner of the plane, put one there, hide in cockpit, watch the side entry. Free kill. Go to the body, grab another claymore from Scavenger Pro(this is a huge problem) and do it again.

Experience plays a big difference. You can't move too slow nor can you just rush it. I'm not too sure how good sound is on the xbox/ps3 but on the PC I can detect footsteps really well. Pro-level League play back in COD4 helps alot too.

 

LOL I just rush in with double SMGs and blaze...then I die. But I make sure to only have kill streak thingies that need less kills so I can use them.

I GOT THE MOST KNIFE KILLS, AND KILLED WHOLE TEAM ACCOLADE, AND ONE OF THE BEST KNIFES I HAD WAS WHEN I JUMPED OFF A ROOF TOP AND KNIFED FOR THE LAST KILL, IT WAS A GREAT KILL CAM MOMENT...THE GUY WAS PROBABLY LIKE

 

COD4 PC, 3 smoke, extreme conditioning, juggernaut, p90.

Went 84-1 on a 16vs16 TDM. All knife kills except for air support. You guys count your blessing there is no longer 3 smoke in this game.

Oh btw, Blake, the secret to akimbo SMG is claymore and scavenger. It actually reloads your equipment(frag, knife throw, claymore, etc.). Once you unlock the P90, just go straight P90 until Akimbo and go in Tetragammatron Cleric on their ***. The nice thing about rushing smg is that you catch 3-4 people by surprise and you wipe them all out.

 

Ah yes I have done that tonight. Got P90 and went akimbo as quickly as possible. Good times. I never was one for setting claymores though. I just like to charge...kind of like my normal personality ha ha ha.

Oh and I actually play a game that let's you do that Gun Kata thing...Champions Online. Its pretty badass just for that one move.

 

Played a few hours over the weekend. I love all the customization you can do to all the guns and stuff. Just not sure why I would run a red-dot on a full-auto Glock 18 in real life. But hey its more bling bling.

I do wonder about the ratings of some of the guns particularly the Assault Rifles. How is it that the FAL and AK47 are not more powerful than the M4, M16, SCAR and ACR? I'm pretty sure that the FAL (.308) and AK (7.62x39) have been proven to have more power than the .223 based weapons. They should give a power downgrade to the .223 weapons but keep their superior accuracy. Not sure why this is a big deal because they had it correct in COD4.

Also, don't understand why you get access to the Barrett so early...it should be one of the last you get because of its real world rarity...should get the M21 first as that and the Rem 700 are the more available sniper rifles.

After playing for a few weeks, I'm kind of burnt out since there isn't much variety in the game. 3rd person, TDM, CTF, etc, all the same meta experience.

Aw man I want to get that...I have a lot of Steam friends that played L4D and are all on L4D2 now...just don't want to buy another game after just getting MW2. Also need to have money for Mass Effect 2, Star Wars The Old Republic and maybe the Star Trek one.
