Bulletproof Monk

Maybe I am too tough of a critic. Just watched this stinker with Erin on DVD tonight.

She said it was "good" - which in "girlspeak" means a 5/10.

I give it a 3/10 which in "Richardspeak" means CRAP. UTTER CRAP. Hot, steaming, piled up crap marinated in au jus of crap with special spicy crap sauce on the side.

It looks like a rich, powerful producer movie mogul gave his juvenile son a mega-$ camera and all the resources of his studio and ended up with a nicely shot, vividly depicted crap puree at the end of it all!

OMG... I think maybe only Undercover Brother and Master of Disguise were worse than this bomb. *shudder*

On the plus side, at least Seann William Scott didn't play Stifler again in this movie.

I liked the cat fight in Undercover Brother. Denise Richards lengthens me.

Is there anything WORTH renting out there? The last couple I rented were horrid. Solaris or something, WTF was that about? Jesus christ. Couldnt stay awake for 2 seconds.

So anyone seen a good movie lately on video? Im tired of paying $5 a shot to see ****.

Underworld was good but not as good as I thought it would be.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico didn't have enough Selma.
Johnny Depp is great though.

Boondock Saints!

But for more recent stuff:

The Recruit wasn't bad... Pacino is always worth watching.
LOTR: The Two Towers of course... <-- AWESOME.
Red Dragon
Drumline
My Big Fat Greek Wedding...
Bourne Identity

All of those have come out on DVD in the last year...

It is a sarcastic documentary on the spread of guns in the U.S. and the associated deaths. Won an academy award. Very funny and very sad.
Yeah just saw that. I really liked it. I think he brought out some great points and really blind-sided the NRA guy. Cant remember his name anymore. He so thought it was a pro-gun documentary and didnt know what to say.

Yeah rentals. I was hoping Selma would be all over the movie, but I heard she wasnt. What the hell were they thinking? Just show me selma lifting up her skirt and skowin me her thigh-highs for 2 hours and I woulda come back and back and back...

Hmm, seen all those. I guess there really arent any great ones out. I have done the LOTR night a couple times watching both movies. I cant get enough. Course one more and its over. I really hate that.

Ok, some movie trivia. Probably easy enough to find out, but Im lazy as hell today. Probably due to the layers of skin that have been peeling off my body.

The movie with Matt Damon and Ben Afleck when they were angles or something and were trying to get back into heaven by walking through the church. I cant for the life of me remember the name of it, but what i really want to know is who played the stripper at the bar? I was awestruck. Its like one of the Selmas, or Relic Hunter chicks or something like that. I know its not Tia Carrerre, but its one of those asian hotties. I just need to know to feel better about humanity and I really want a pic from the movie. She was on stage and had the NICEST damn caboose I have seen in a long time.

Richard help a brother out here!

Dogma? Wasn't that Salma Hayek doing the strip tease in the pink lingerie? Was there another stripper? Either way - Salma is SMOOOOOOOOOOOOKIN'!

Yep. Definitely Salma.

Yeah ok thats the name. I gotta get a pic of that scene. Saw it like years ago and still think about it. I can look it up now and see if it was her. She had on the glasses and sorta schoolgirl outfit. Ok, gotta go now...

I am obviously not cultured enough to enjoy this. Erin made me sit through it with her. It was virtually painful to me. *shudder*

She threatens me with having to watch this again if I do something naughty.
