go and buy one- you have to. it is the rule. most of us did it. i had mine for 2 weeks. get it out of your system, move on. it's the bling factor. don't listen to all the negative people in here. just buy one. any one. you know you wanna do it. no need for confirmation from us. i'm not gonna be the search pOlice - cuz we have quite a few of deputies in here

haha well said..anyways, ill admit that a bov was my second mod..no shame.. silver satin has moved on and wanted someone to pass onto others that a bov is a waste of money.. so thats what i did. but yeah, you'll probably buy one anyway.. like what gdogg said, most of us do..

Don't worry about everyone getting on your case. I waited 5 years to have a turbo car, so of course when I finally got my STi, I put one on...why the hell not? Everyone does. but like everyone posted up before, it's all about personal preference.

stock is always best if you don't have that many upgrades and aren't running more than 18lbs of boost. but if you really want to get a BOV then the one that goes PSSSSSSSSHHH!! is the best.

i say out of all the research that i've done, if you want something very very diffrent sounding, take a look into the sard bov, it has a really unique sound, but if you want an all around can change sounds kinda bov, the HKS SSQV would be fit for you, there is three type of valves you can change into, the triple fin, which will give you a birdy sound(chirp), the purple insert which will give you a HKS chirp/Blitz bov kinda sound, which i have on right now, or you could totally 100% recirculate it back into the recirculation pipe if you get the 100% ricirc valve, which i also have too. i think HKS reigns supreme

oh yeah, once you get your boost up higher the blitz bov would not handle as much

never get the turboxs type H bov because i heard from some people that their bov got stuck and their car died out on the freeway. i also heard the vavle inside the bov flies off too
