Bodywork Help!
howzit going everybody, just got a few questions maybe you all can help me out. got a few big cracks in my bodykit the front aint to bad jus got a bunch of um but in the rear i got a pretty big one from a hit and run pissed me off but anyways, just wondering if the fiberglass repair kit, (the ones that they sell at checkers) is good enough to fix these cracks.. Any help, dont really want to take it to the bodyshop, haha ballin on a budget.. imma just try and fix it. wanted to know if there was anything else i need? sand paper? what grits? wet sand? what grits? tried to do a search on steps on how to do it, but didnt come up with anything .. search was a fail.. . did a search on google but all they gave me was recommendations on books.. lol .. jus take a look at these pics and tell what you think.. any help would be appreciated..

Mike, you're mean. Or am I.....since I laughed at the comment you just made?
I may need to agree with Ryan on this one. For what it's worth, my thinking/mentality is from a body shop perspective, and although it may not be the most popular responses, keep that in mind.
I wouldn't really bother with the rear bumper. If you factor in labor costs, materials, and time......easier to just replace it. As for the front bumper, it looks pretty borderline to me. It can be repaired, but how much time/labor/materials is your breaking point before you replace it? Tough call, and if you don't mind the time it takes, then it may be worth while. However, most shops would tell you to replace them. Good luck

Man that sucks.. Thanks for the replys, warren where can I get those supplies? Like foam glass and resin? Imma jus pick um up and try at my house. Haha guess now I gotta see if anybody get front and rear bumpers for sale... Anybody let me know! Shooties

Ouch dude!! Sorry to hear about your kit!! Thats why I stay away from anything Fiberglass or partial fiberglass. Hate working with mixing fiber resin because of the strong stench and laying fiberglass mat. PolyUrethane dude is the way to go bro!!
