Where you guys gonna get your car inspected? It says BME gives free inspection on April12th, but thats after the 3/15/03 discount date for registering. Just not sure if you would spend more to get it inspected somewhere. Lemme know...

Edit: Also seems that you need to have the car registered before sending the app and Owen said the spots are filling up quick. So I would think waiting for 4/12 would mean you get a free inspection, but no slots open...

You can register before your car is inspected.

I was told that a "subject matter expert" will need to do the inspection, ... as in possibly the Subaru dealership (Ed, sub-sonic) doing it. You get a check off list of things that need to be inspected.

BME can possibly do the Subaru's too, I'm trying to find out now.

*Joey, or Alex, ... will you sticky this thread until the track day please.

Here is an email I sent and got a reply back on it...

Tech needs to be done before arriving at track.
BME dose this for free please make an appointment.
There is no obligation to go there.
Feel free to call me, 223-8810.

Thank you Owen,

One question though... I understand on filling out the application and
giving the money to reserve my spot. But as far as the tech inspection
goes, do I do that before hand at BME, or do that that day at the track?

Unhappy

Great the 26th is Rebecca's B-day and I don't have a car to drive. Maybe I should just go get that 350Z.

Just received the forms from Owen, but was curious if anyone else knew:

Is the BMWCC Chapter Membership required and what type of helmet is required. I'm assuming my SCCA Solo II approved helment will do?

Update: Yes and Yes to the questions above.

Assuming there is still room I plan to sign up this week.

Tim and I so far I think...

Also I talked a client of mine to go with his Mini Cooper Type-s. He happens to be an ex M5 owner. I can't wait to show up his little penny racer. He has been talking smack to me for weeks
