Hey Nevin...
Yeah, my APS gets pretty close to my bumper...I get the black marks when I
You can get rid of the black streaks by, yup, you know...putting your stock bypass valve back on...so your car doesn't run rich...I know...my HKS at 100% atmo...my bumper gets black...put the 100% recirc on...no more black...but then again, I like he sound...
if it is a heat problem...then that is a whole different story...like the Turbo XS-RFL...that thing gets HOT! definately need longer hangers or the bumper guard to keep your paint safe...Here is an example...I sold mine to Mark...he lives in the Pearl City area...he left my house, we put some tin foil between the tip and his bumper...by the time he got home, the tin foil was in bad shape according to Mark...the longer hangers do make a difference...I ran it with longer hangers with no problems...in this instance...
Careful on the hangers though...when you drop just the end, it often times mis-aligns the joints of your exhaust...be ready for possible exhaust leaks..

iNfek (jon) has a very nice metal plate on his bumper- just do that. the one reason why i like the blitz(the entire 2 weeks i had it) was that it was "flush" to the bumper- the exaust i have now sticks out like way out yo!
