Blaise's 2005 FXT...
Haven't really posted on this much, but my son Blaise just got his license and we've been mildly building up a 2005 Forester XT...
Into building sleepers these days...
We purchased it with a blown turbo...but because of everyone on I-Club and Jimi's help, we got it up and running pretty quick...
Added some new items...Perrin 100% Recirc Bypass Valve, Front/Rear Strutbars, EBC, New PDXTune, 04 STI Struts/JDM Pinks/Group-N Tophats...
Cobb Accessport V2
Grimmspeed 3-Port EBC
VF-39
4EAT (don't knock it till you try it...works great!)
08 STI TMIC
GT Spec V2 Header/uppipe
Invidia divorced wastegate/catted downpipe
JIC Titanium Catback
Perrin 100% Recirc bypass valve
Perrin Short Ram Intake
Perrin 2.4" Turbo Inlet Tube
Perrin Alternator Cover
Cusco Turbo Heatshield
PDX Tuned Cobb APV2 (240hp/243tq)...will retune soon with more mods to include a Grimmspeed EBC
With EBC and Header installed new PDX Tune (255hp/264tq)
2004 STI Struts/JDM Pink Springs/Group-N Tophats (bottom pic)
(had 2005 wrx struts/springs...two photos adjacent to engine bay pic below)
2005 STI Rear swaybar and mounts (have 2005 STI rear lateral links to be installed in the near future)
GT Spec Front Strutbar
STI Replica Rear Strutbar
18x8.5 Rota Grids wrapped in 255/35/18 tires
Alpine deck with Bluetooth w/JL Audio speakers in the doors, 10" sub in the rear.
Clifford Alarm
STI Front Seats
52mm Defi Boost Gauge
Subaru OEM Turbo Specific Hood guard
Ceramic Tint
The car is tuned at both 14 and 18psi...Blaise gets the 14psi maps until he gets used to the turbo...wish I had a car like this when I was 17...oh well, living through my son...
The latest pics of the fxt are the bottom two...

The 4eat works great...it flat out flies...never gets off boost as long as the pedal is down...never experienced it until the Forester...my left leg is definitely bigger than my right due to my heavy duty clutch on my Legacy...wow, a nice break...
I've been blessed with two great kids that don't take things for granted, stay out of trouble, and do well in school...yes, Blaise is wrenching with me, learning and enjoying...
Soon we'll be tackling the dreaded timing belt change...
