try no to get caught up on what hp you will hit. be more concerned of a usable power curve. i myself use to get so hyped up about max hp. ask yourself this, what is the point of XXX HP when you can only use it for less than a 3000 rpm band?

^^With an intake and free-flowing 3in exhaust you'll hit around or just under 300/300 with the vf37, and its very usable power. 5000 powerband in the cool mornings, however its more like 4500-4800 when heat soaked. I'm looking into fabricating an intercooler duct and sprayers.

My 16GIII ran out of steam at 6000.... I was tuned at 330/390 with it. Fun turbo. My powerband was more from 2500 - 6000rpm...even though my redline was 7500. That's only a 3500rpm spread... but boy, was it fun...
My current green comes in at the mid 3000 and pulls hard all the way to over 7000rpm... that's also a 3500rpm spread.. this is MUUY funner!

Full boost hits about 3k, all the way to 8k. I was messing around yesterday and found I can go 75mph in 2nd gear on my 5 speed. Lol! I have a full 3" exhaust but still running stock airbox for now.
I'm fabbing up a splitter for my tmic as well. Not so much worried about a sprayer but it would be nice. I have all my exhaust piping wrapped and a turbo blanket so under hood temps are fairly low, even now I don't experience much heatsoak. I would highly suggest drilling out the stock heat shields and wrapping, makes a very dramatic difference.

75 in 2nd!.....must be nice to have a 8k rev limit and know your turbo can hold it.

Boost tapers from 21psi at peak tq to 16 by redline. Honestly, you are hardly ever there and if I was dragging I would shift at 6500-7k. However, for autox or whatever having an extra 1k to play with can mean the difference between staying in a gear until the next corner or shifting.
Back to the topic of Stets turbo, freakin awesome choice, you are going to love it!

Do you need a built motor to have 8k redline?
Mine is and Jarrad doesn't recommend a 8k redline... it's set for 7600 tops. He won't actually, for reasons that mine is a DD and I'm much more concerned about reliability and longevity.
The HTA Green is going to make you smile, Stets...
