BIGGER Amp Alternator

BIGGER Amp Alternator
I was curious if anyone on island sells higher amp alternators?
I have a 2002 WRX and the stock 75amp alternator cant keep up with my headlights from dimming when my stereo system is on. I'm also going to be installing four Hella lights soon so I need something that will keep up with everything from sucking all the juice and dimming my headlights.

I'm not sure about on island, but I know that maniac electric sells higher amperage alternators for Subarus.
I've had Wayne's auto electric rebuild alternators for me before (and they warranty their stuff). You might want to try ask them first. I had them rebuild 2 different alternators, and they did both right in front of me really fast, and I talked to the guy while he was doing it.
I'm sure they'd tell you yes or no pretty straight up if you called and asked.

I tried looking for some before I got my subs n amp, but the only ones I could find were in the 400+ price range. So if you are willing to spend tgat much I can give you a few links.

Currently I am only powering one 10" sub with about a 500W amp and my door speakers are being powered with about another 500w amp. I want to install four Hella lights but my alternator already cant keep up with my stereo. My headlights dim quite a bit when the base hits even on low volume.

^^ I was running a very similar setup to yours, except a 500w mono amp, and a 400w 2 channel for my fronts. Along with JDM projectors, never had any dimming problems whatsoever. I would suggest the grounding mod also, you can put together the wires yourself for super cheap and it will probably solve your problem.
From what I recall searching nabisco audio and visual forums, unless you are running two huge 1000w amps and all kinds of aux stuff the stock alternator should work just fine.

Thanks everyone for the input. I will first try replacing the power and ground wire and see if that's enough. If that doesn't work I will just have to bite the bullet and get my alternator rebuilt.
