Beware Of Stock Tires!!!
If you still have the stock tires on your WRX, you should change them. I just got my '05 two weeks ago - if you went to the cruise, I was the one with the new grey color. But the other day my tire blew out while I was driving causing the car to go off road. I went up a little dirt mound that was on the side of the road, just missing a telephone pole and brick wall (thank God.) Now my front bumper, drivers fender, sideskirts, and both drivers side doors are damaged. And if that is not bad enough, the windows were down and now my brand new car is full of dirt. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with the stock tires blowing out. I wasn't going at a crazy speed that would cause this, just about 60mph. I am going to take my car to the dealership today to see if they had seen it happen before and to see what the can do about it. I at least hope the can fix the tire and clean the interior for me. I also read about Greg doing some bodywork. If anyone can help my hurtin' suby please let me know.

Yep the stock tires have much suck!
Its good that you are ok, you should be able to claim under your insurance and get the body damage taken car of.

I don't think anyone has had a problem with them. They come on a ton of cars stock.
We've had brave souls "track day" on them without any problems.
