I'm asking because all this time I thought Shell was the best, and my car does run good with Shell. But I just want different opinions from fellow rexers. Now because of this thread, I will try 76 to see how it is. Although the Shell by my house is so convenient and cheap, $2.46 for 92

Does the 100 octane make any sort of difference for your turbocharged cars? I know it did for my old highstrung 00 Celica but it was NA.

When I get home,I'm going to use 88 octane from Shell, retard my timing, and drop the boost because my middle name is CHANG!

Other than the base gas I only use 76, however when I am back in Indiana I only run Sunoco because they are they only ones with 94.

i brought this up before, but keep in mind that there are only 2 refineries here in hawaii. all gas trucks go to these 2. the raw gas is all the same. its the detergents that they use that makes the difference.

and btw. the best gas is shell and 76- because they are always the cheapest here in kaneohe.

FYI: I did do a search and only the first link is kinda relevant which I somehow missed while doing a search. What I wanted to find out (via the poll) was what percentage of fellow WRX owners use which brand of gas; and the other threads didnt answer that for me.

FYI: These links answer a bunch of "gas" related questions, that are in this thread or may come up in this thread.

SO what town is this 76 in with 100 octane?

Be gentle I'm a Mainlander.

I also heard someone mention of a Shell with 93!?!? True, or no.

Damn what I wouldnt give to be back in PA with a 94(1.98) and 100(4.00) octane Sunoco right down the street. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
