We tried that one before. First time was with Bud Ice w/o grenadine(gotta try Azukay), because the drink go's fast cuz' dat bugga ish sweeeet! And because it bubbles on the dependablity of Li-Hing Mui strip/powder additive. GOOD ONE
Primo is vintage beer. And now it's back. Aloha style!!!!!

Wow! This thread is making me so happy right now. I was afraid the beer options would be as bland as south FL: bud, bud light, coors light, mich light, etc. but it sounds perfect.
This is awesome. And ****, I totally forgot about Longboard. Can't remember where I had that before (I've only gone as far west as AZ) but I do remember liking it.
To know that there are places in Hawaii with dozens to over a hundred beers on tap is soooooo good. I'm forwarding this thread to my girlfriend (she's somewhat of a beer fan, too).
Woot for dark beers in huge glasses!

I used to be into beers then made my way into the world of Sake, then exited, as it was pricey. But my favorite beer right now is the belgian stella artois. I have been dying to try some Belgian Trappist Westvletern 12, or anything those monks brew.
You should definitely get into sake. Here in hawaii we have the strong asian influence. Get a membership to marukai and you can drink some of the best imported sakes and beers from japan. Ward warehouse has a liqour shop that sells exotic alcohol too.
My favorite sakes are Kubota manju or senshu. There are many others, but when you get here we can discuss sake.

I did'nt want to start a new thread, but i got a question for all you beer drinkers. I don't claim to be a beer connoisseur, however I do find that some beers taste better at room temperature. I was drinking Stella Artois, then stepped up to Pilsner Urquell. I like it as a sipping beer warm, but don't care for it much cold. Is this normal?? Are some beers better warm?

Some beers are better at room temp so yeah it's normal...I consider myself to be a beer drinker and will try a new beer every chance I get. I have tried many beers along with plenty euro brews that we do not have here and even some home made stuff my friend makes up at north shore (IPA). As far as Heineken I would drink 1 maybe 2 but would never buy it to me its not worth it I think there are better choices out there. Just like coronas to me its all hype and a trend. I don't drink beer to drink I drink for the taste but that's all relative and everyone has their own personal preference.
