ahh yea I did it exactly how you guys said to do it. I cant go lower with out adjusting the preload. No these are not the extremes, but I was told these would allow them to tuck the tires no problem, otherwise would have bought the extremes. I have not adjusted the preload they are snug just baffles me.

First off I was told these would go super low that Extremes would not be needed. I don't plan to be super low like I said in my post, I just wanted to see how the car looked since it was pretty easy lifting and dropping the car. I was pretty bored on Sunday waiting for Game of thrones haha. But that is not a bad idea cutting down on the sleeve. Maybe if I ever need to be that low.

if all you want to do is see what it looks like then just mark the location of the spring (or count the threads) and lessen the preload on the spring. the factory preload setting isn't always the best so you may find that a slightly looser spring is a better ride for you. just be careful to leave some load on it or else you'll clunk and squeak.

so my question is that I lowered the front of my car last night and am running into trouble right now doing the rear, when i loosen C on the rear left coil, i then try to loosen A, but it seems to only make the spring looser, and B is not fused to A they move separately. I now cant figure out how to get the back lower. the coil right now is not lowered at all.

Derp wrong.
A and B need to be tight together to move the strut body this way and you might need to help it by lubricating the threads once you loosen C. watch the vid that someone posted earlier. after driving it crap gets in the threads and it's no longer easy to manipulate so you need to clean it out and lube it up.

i did try that and still couldnt get it, I broke one of the ***** on the A band trying to loosen it. I sprayed it with wd40 last night and took a pin and cleaned the threads, let it sit overnight and am going to try again in a few minutes

if it's not moving easy hit the spanner with a deadblow or use a strap wrench on the tube. you might also want to raise it first to clear the crud out of the threads and hit it with a brush before going back down.

The problem is I cant get it to spin either way. it wont go up or down. I just gave it another shot and couldnt get it.. i tried lightly hitting the collar with a hammer to try and loosen the crap that is stuck and still couldnt get it to budge. I sprayed more wd40 on and am letting it sit longer. Also the C collar on thew right rear is totally siezed as well
