Thats my big worry. I spent thousands keeping them running just as daily drivers. I love them and the potential, but I really dont trust them much. Maybe as a strictly track car it would be ok tho.

Wow so much input. Thanks all. Lots to think about. Leaning towards a fox body at this time. No honda for me, just cant do it. Possibly DSM depending on what deal I can find. You guys rock. Many thanks.

if you get and civic or integra. you could find used parts for super cheap. but i would get a 240 if you can find one for a decent price without rust!!

there are no 1990 MR2s. The Mk IIs started in '91.
'93+ MR2s are more expensive.

P.S. They are also a b*tch to work on and aftermarket parts are limited and pricey.

I wanted a Grand Nash so bad, but they sell for like 8-15 Grand out here

I won't get a Honda just cause the fact that someone might steal it...

I'd get a 240 or an old 280Z.

you know Dave, you don't need to get a Grand National...
just get a plain old firebird/camaro rs or v6 or even an old regal of the same year and drop the GN drivetrain in it.
The turbo regal is the same as a GN (almost)

3.8L V6 with a big turbo that is capable of 500 HP on the stock bottom end. 14s stock. 9s highly modified...
think about it.
tranny options are endless
manual or auto (4L80E/powerglide/ 2004R/TH350/TH400)
