Unhappy Barely even 24hrs

Not even 24 hours and some lady backs into my brand new STI. what bad luck I have. i guess the bright side is they had valid insurance and they will be contacting me in the morning. does anyone know if I can push for the insurance company to replace all parts damaged with brand new subaru parts so that way the paint matches all up and no bondo will be used? needs some suggestions guys..Thanks in advance.

Jess

Also push to have your insurance company nail her insurance company for the devaluation your car just suffered. The resale value of your car just dropped significantly - now, instead of a 1-day-old car, it's a 1-day-old car that's been in an accident.

Note - This isn't something I've ever tried, but I've heard of other guys successfully pushing the point and getting more $$$ from their insurance company.

yeah I just talk to her insurance company and I have to take the car down monday to a progressive insurance adjuster for the estimates. as far as what happened I was sitting at the vineyard and pali highway zippy's waiting on a fellow i-clubber to show up when out of nowhere a red sentra going in reverse slammed into the driver side rear of the car. it actually felt alot harder than the damage it caused but still less than 24hrs old and this happens. Patrick i'll try what you are suggesting and see what happens. hey thanks for the info guys

She's probaly one of those soccer mom types with an suv or minivan that they can barely drive. I see a lot of those, they take forever to reverse.
