Back in the saddle!
This was a long time coming, but I'm back in the Suby saddle again!
Thanks to **** and the rest of the gang at Servco Subaru I'm the proud new owner of a 2009 Forester XT Limited.
I love it!

Thanks, Everyone.
Believe you me, I'd be in a new Aspen White '08 STI if this darned thing called 'geriatric dotage' wasn't somehow quickly coming upon me.
My wife and I really dig the new Foz. It's comfy, good looking, and while I haven't been able to poke it yet (56 miles on the odometer) it feels like it can get out of its own way without any problems.
Thanks for the welcome back.

Okay, after 100+ miles in this thing so far I have to say: None of you have any excuse for letting a loved one (friend, relative, co-worker, complete stranger whom you don't immediately hate) buy a compact SUV without first putting their okole in the seat of a new Foz!
I think I'm going to send a bundt cake to the engineers at Fuji for really knocking this design out of the park!
(now if they'd only put a flappy paddle f1 tranny in this thing so I could go auto-x and still have a vehicle the wifey can drive).

I'm actually going to get Action Gurl a Forester but she is still fighting for a Tribeca...after we buy the house next year.
Told her the only reason for us to have a Tribeca is if we had a bunch of kids but we are only just starting so by the time we have a 3rd kid then we can get a Tribeca. For now, a Forester would be just fine for 1-2 kids plus the dogs in the back.
