I hope we don't hurt his bandwidth.

Note the Elise, Z06s, Corvairs, Viper, and Caterham-***-Locosts.
Check out the big body roll on Pat...stock suspension baby. 225/45/17. Of course, the left/rear strut is broke, now.

Damn! I never got any notification that y'all replied.
Anyhow, Jon, it's great because they have a huge open lot to design the course. I never got to go when the AutoX was at Barber's Point, only at HRP. Essentially, you have zero worries about wrecking. That and there were a couple of places where speed got up to like 53 mph.
My understanding is that there's another race up in the northern part of the state that utilizes a 1/4 mile as it's start, so you have to brake for like 100mph and then go into curvies.
There's another race later on in the year called an Australian something or other. Basically, two cars start on opposite sides of an oval and do two laps trying to catch each other.
Here's how I did. They didn't list types of cars nor pax, but I think I'll be sticking with G stock since STS looks too competitive for me.

Car Info: heavy, stock power, slow, perfect
go pat go!!!
werd. sticky tires on stock rims would be perfect for you in that class.....and i am not talking about damn azenis tires. some koni adjustables to finish it up with some crash bolts to get max possible camber(legally) in that class.

Shoot. I thought I posted it up. I ran a best of 48 when most of the competitive street cars ran 43-45 seconds.
I took 4th out of 10 in G stock.
I'm definitely going to look at how far I can push the envelope because I can see how I might be competitive in this class.
The only thing not stock on the car is 225/45/17 KDWs on real light rims. I am such a fricken n00b, though. I thought in test and tune I would have enough time to change rims between runs. I wanted to run the Potenza RE 950s 205/55/16 (I'm pretty impressed with them) and then change them out to the KDWs, but I only had enough time to run the KDWs.
Turns out that I had the back tires on correctly, but I had the front tires pointing to the rear.
That and I didn't come prepared to fix or even check my air pressure. I ran 40 in front and 35 in the rear. Ha ha ha.
I think that my left rear strut is broken. I looked and the strut body is good, as well as the endlink and lateral link. Must be the strut top.
I'll tell you what, though. The tires did slip a bit, but it was controllable. Essentially, I was afraid to push it whenever I was in a part of the course that tested the camber, so there was quite a bit left.
There was a 99 RS there that was running 43's but I think he was in STS.
