my car was travelling sideways through the gravel and leaves/branches/bugs were coming in through the drivers side window...i was just bracing myself for the crash, as i knew i was gonna hit HARD...but i kept the wheel turned, and kept on the gas...and by some miracle, the good Lord stuck his hand down from the heavens and guided my car back on the track...no kidding, i didnt know how i made it through that without crashing...

i got a DNF on that run...the side of my car has some minor surface scrathes on the clear coat...nothing that cut through the paint...that and my interior is all dirty...but like i said, better than crunching something...

someone said they got some pics of it...i'll post when they fwd it to me...
glad to hear that you and your car are ok.

Barry, you ripped!!! Damn! Too bad you were in your civic, not your STI? Nevertheless, AWESOME TIMES! Wish I had run better , but top 10 overall is respectable. I guess I'll run the MR2 next month to see how I do on street rubber. BTW, the slippery exit wasn't due to my drift session the day before. Great to see all the SUBY's out there, Ty, you need to run some race rubber. I have to say this track was fun!!! I used 3rd gear twice and almost hit red line in the back slolam (in 3rd).

Pat, good luck, I guess guys like me now have a chance to move up place points in SM. LOL

A hui hou,
Larry

larry why are you selling the sti? got something else in mind?

oh yeah, i have tires but have yet to mount them. they're sitting in the corner of my living room taking up space.

dave - good job. your times were really good for your 1st time out.

i think i may have to practice my shifting. on my best time, i mis-shifted at least twice and had to down shift into 1st at the crossover.

I may sell and build a Civic. LOL J/K. May build a 240 next and can't afford to build one and still pay for the STI.
