yup. track was fun. but dangerous. especially the finish. the beginning part was probably slippery because of the drifters and wrx151 the day before.... going off the track and making the track messy.

good to see a bunch of subarus again. makes me wanna dust off the sti since we have 6 months of no wntr-gt. hey pat, i'll start your car up for you every 1st sunday if you need help. oh yeah, and help cycle the gas in there.

hell yeah, i was afraid of that course, too! good to see so many guys out there pushing their cars/skills.. jay, i hope your off-road excursion buffed right out..

Barry kicked bootay in that damn civic of his......was the lsd in?
I had fun, best run was 71.5, ticked of a 70.3 but clipped a cone. I think I'm getting the hang of RWD with 385 lb/ft torque

thanks yo. yes, it was in, so my acceleration was a little sluggish, but i had grip.

fyi: jon is using a combination of v710 on the rear with v700 on the front and he said it felt alot better balanced. plus the weight of the v710 is noticeably less.

even with that, jon said he was still scared of the finish which is why he took the last slalom the long safer way.

my second run (i was in the first heat)...it was before the crossover, the section just after the "S" curve (the curve that was lined)...i was carrying too much speed, my guess was i was going about 50mph, and the rear broke loose on me...i tried to catch it, but it was too late...i was into the gravel and in the bushes...i lost total control of the car, and was just holding on...i guessing i musta been drifiting in the bushes for a good 70ft or so...

my car was travelling sideways through the gravel and leaves/branches/bugs were coming in through the drivers side window...i was just bracing myself for the crash, as i knew i was gonna hit HARD...but i kept the wheel turned, and kept on the gas...and by some miracle, the good Lord stuck his hand down from the heavens and guided my car back on the track...no kidding, i didnt know how i made it through that without crashing...

i got a DNF on that run...the side of my car has some minor surface scrathes on the clear coat...nothing that cut through the paint...that and my interior is all dirty...but like i said, better than crunching something...

someone said they got some pics of it...i'll post when they fwd it to me...
