Goodluck. Catching an STi in a straight line and at AutoX are two totally different beasts.

If you don't have any racing experience and/or lack natural talent then you might as well stop now and save yourself the embarrassment.

Lol 3 cars later and I still can't catch Avery, good luck with that one.. And I have a generous amount of seat time on top of that..

My biggest thing is getting the car broken in at the moment. 750 miles and climbing... slowly.

Looks like a lot of fun tho watching, i'll admit, I'm itchy already to get out there.
thanks again.
Come on out when you can. One of the biggest hurdles is learning how to read the cones on course at speed. That's why seat time is so valuable. As for STU set ups, check out the Nasioc forums thread "STU setups - check-in". I forget the exact title, but search will get you there.

Also, if you're free on Saturday, 8-20-11, we have RallyCross at Kalaeloa Raceway Park. It's basically, Autocross in the dirt, biggest difference is less traction, more runs and longer runs.

Yes, do it, we're really having fun, lot's of friendly competition with good drivers. I'm new to the Suby community, but really, really enjoying the Suby folks.

Might I recommend keeping the RallyCross STi and building a separate STU Sti? You know you want to.

BTW, great drive to the WIN in CP!

PAX-SMAX, you know you have to defend the YAY TEAM GIRLIE CAR, YAY ROLL BAR title for as long as possible. I promise you can keep beating us up at RallyCross for the foreseeable future. hehehe.

Come on out Phil! I'm sure you'll have fun! If you're around during fun runs, we'll get you in for a ride along.

Same invite for RallyCross, ride along or better still a drive during fun runs. You'll need SCCA membership or weekend membership though.

Hmmm. Intersting. Hard enough working on 3 cars now. I think if the Z28 ever dies, might just do that. The bad lifter is getting louder each race. You ready for an LS1 in the Miata?

STU is fun! Avery just raised the bar for our class, everyone is driving harder and faster now. I've been in STU since my car was bonestock and have enjoyed every modification that is STU allowable since, and because I'm such a lazy bastage, I'll always be in the street tire class.

Definitely going to do an LSX Miata, slowly sourcing the parts. Now that you and Rick are trading victories in CP, I can't imagine you jumping class for a couple of seasons. But if you come across an extra LS engine let me know. See you Saturday! Rally On!

Great driving Diego, I'm loving the competition in STU.
