-norris-night photography isnt the easiest of shots to do...but all in all great eye for some shots...i like the ones in waimea, those are gorgeous...what ISO you shootn at?

For ISO speed, I usually set to Manual for:

Night shot = 800 or rarely 1600 if the lens cannot manage the speed of light
I rarely take night shots because my lens aperture max is 3.5 so I have to compensate with the ISO, but it makes usually the pix grainy or "noisy."

Just wish to get a telephoto lens with F2.8 asap! but I am leaning toward macro subjects more and more.. so proly a fix 90mm or 105mm with F2.8 and VR.

Daylight cloudy = 400 or play with WB
Daylight no clouds = 200

All in all, it depends on the mode I use, usually Aperture or Shutter speed.
