The pink bits along with the rest of the STi stuff I had on the wagon made a big difference as a complete package.

It's all personal preference, but you are paying more for the pink bits because they are good products engineered by STi and they have better bushings, not because they are pink.

In some cases I'm willing to pay more for the STi name and R&D that comes with that such as on suspension parts, whereas in other areas (SS brake lines) I'll go with the 3rd party product that cost half as much and are just as good.

I'm not made of money either and that's why I slowly choose what I'm going to be happy with up front so I'm not second guessing myself later after it's installed.
