I can reach full boost when I slowly accelerate, but the car hesitates and boost seems to spike when I accelerate hard.
I know that tuning is an issue, but could this also be from a possible leak at the intake manifold? I did remove the intake manifold when I installed the Perrin Fuel Rails.
I was told by Ken@Vishnu that the EcuTek Stage2 map that I have shouldn't allow the boost to tapper like that.
Thanks Bro!

It's hard to make guesses, .... the way it felt when I drove it yesterday, is that the way it usually acts?
I don't think a leak would make it act the way it acted when I drove it.
I'd really like to spend some time with it on the weekend sometime, I'm sure we could figure things out more. I will be gone from tomorrow until the 26th or 27th of next week, so maybe sometime after that I can help out if you want.
If you can hook up that boost gauge to see what you're actually getting, and if it's too much, just use the mbc to set it a bit lower than what the 'vf22 map' wants to see, ... b/c I'm sure you're flowing much more air than that. It'll give you somewhere to start troubleshooting at least.
The thing will be a beast once you get the bugs worked out though!

I took the car to HRP and clocked in the high 15's and low 16's.
While running, everything was normal until about 4.5k rpm; the car just hesitates through all gears. It felt as if I had no boost at all.
I don't think I'm getting the autronic. It seems like a great product, but I already paid 1/3 of the XEDE and I don't want to spend anymore money for big mods for the remainder of the year. I have put aside other priorities because of this car and I don't want to spend anymore than 10k on this project in only a year.
Starting after Christmas, I will start spending again.

A boost leak would show up with you not getting full set boost.
Case in point, this past week end some dude drove all the way from the east coast to CA. He has a fully tuned Stg 4 setup with a VF22 and FMIC. He couldn't get past 15psi. No matter how hard people tried it wouldn't happen. After many people hit their heads on the ground trying to figure it out. It turned out to be a cracked IC hose for his FMIC.
Good luck Chris, one day, I'll have to check out that beast of yours...
On a side note, with no AWD dyno, and no real xede guru's, who is going to tune for you?

I was going to experiment and learn, but I was also hoping that we could keep in contact and that you could talk me through some of the stuff.
