I imagine to allow them to use the 'same' injector for more than one application.
As well as 'perfecting' the spray pattern.
But apparently, the spray pattern is still quite good with the caps off.

so when you gonna get these Pat?
are you gonna put them in to tune your cars current setup? I think that will help eliminate a possible problem area later on, ... meaning just one less thing to go wrong later.

I know it's a bit late for Pat, but lookie here. Scooped this from nasioc. I like it! It's the Greddy T67 turbo kit for the STi. Supposed to be released later this year.

Biggest factor: it out blows the 20g by 10%. 2nd biggest: it bolts on. 3rd: no real need for having to buy complementary parts. 4th: I got caught up in impulsiveness.
