hey hey hey....is this AS gossip?????? can i get some inside info....
i may jump the boat soon as i had to move my coilovers (cleaning time) and felt them call me.... nah, i know i haven't touched the sti's potential yet, but i get the feeling that the body roll may be a limiting factor that i cannot stand.
plus. russ, your neck still sore?????? i get chance in ESP!!!!

yep tim. i hear that. i got a turboback that has been sitting from before i got the sti.
what advantage will there be to having a sti in esp vs. a std wrx?
-power? (i think russ' car is as fast in the acceleration dept. 13 sec is 13sec in the 1/4 mile.)
-gearing (could be good or bad, last month was baaaad)
-suspension (not much of an advantage as i will be removing the sti stuff and putting the stuff on from my wagon)
-brakes (my brakes are fading as bad as my wrx ones did)
-wheels ( i am forced to use a heavier 17" wheel now)
-tires (same width limitations)
-dccd? (huh?)
-spoiler (added weight)
-scoop (at least it doesn't kick me into SM!!, but it blocks my view of cones)
-IC sprayer (my hands are on the freaking wheel during the run)
doesn't look like much. maybe just enough for an edge. at least i won't have to buy power mods. yay.

Will be interesting how your suspension setup compares to mine:
STi lower springs, lateral links and trailing links.
I'll also install my SS brake lines, but don't see that helping as much for Solo II.
I still need to pick up some tires, but that'll have to wait a bit.
