Just want to know if anyone has time tmr and is willing to capture/photograph for me one of Hawaii's lion dance teams in action.

At the Blaisdell tmr night there's going to be a lion dance performance on acrobatic high-poles. I've always tried to use my own camera to photograph the students performing on the poles but I'm not talented as most of you on here so they don't come out as great as I'd like them to.

Just want to know if any of you are willing to come out and use this as an opportunity to broaden your portfolio. Unpaid of course as this is a fundraising event.

Entrance to the bridal expo is free for you and it'd be a fun experience!

apparently the bridal expo people thought it wasnt a good idea as it might be a liability and they dont want anybody getting hurt..

We have alot more performances coming up so I'll keep people posted..

Folks I have seen Peter's crew do this like at least 2-3 times.

It's pretty frickin awesome...like lion dancing turned up to level 1 trillion.

I can just imagine what kinds of things could happen if a normal person were to try this...without lube.

he became a legend.....

 

I think Pete's crew is probably one of the best in Hawaii. And I've seen many lion dance from here (very disappointed I can tell you).
