I don't think cooling will be a big issue if you keep the pressure to 21psi ish.
It's really pressure dependent.


I also think that the TMIC is more of a flow restriction than a cooling detriment. The ypipe is just teeny and it necks down after coming out of the compressor outlet.

AMS sells their rotated GT30 kits to work with top mounts.... Last time I checked, they knew what they were doing.

Ninja edit providing facts:

"Here also is a dyno graph comparing a stock 07 sti to the 3076 kit. This is on pump gas and then race gas, using a top mount IC"

GT30Rs or similar are the largest turbos you can fit in the stock location. Those curves are actually good for highway and time attack monsters.
