Chris (this is Chibby, right?)
How many different configurations are possible for both of those? I know that the nomenclature of GT35r signifies something about the compressor, I just don't know what.
My dad sent me a bunch of articles from old Pop Mech mags, and one was a real easy to read description of turbo disassembly and maintenance. Now I wouldn't necessarily play with my green, but I figured I might take the 04 or 30 apart one of these days. Maybe I could make one of them into some sort of monster.

I jusy try to base a turbo from it's comp size, cartridge, and design. Most of the info comes from links you've posted or info you've put out.
I do remember that sponaugle put out that the AVO600 = GT35R.

The 32 puts out about 42 lbs per min, the 35 puts out about 65 lbs per min.
The 32 has an internal wastegate, the 35 has no wastegate.
The 32 is a twin scrol , the 35 is a single scrol.
They are both made by Garrett though

Stroker,
Thanks. That's great information.
You know something that has always confused me about turbos made by Garrett or Mitsu, is that it seems like there are so many variations of each...this hot side mated to this comp housing with this comp wheel....

I don't
pay any attention to any of that. I would rather take the advice of an experienced engine builder that have already made the mistakes/discoveries. I don't have the cash to do R&D. Pat, tell Rich his downpipe and catback are installed. He owes me a beer, and I only drink large beers. Dan wussed out on me, so it was a one man install. Someday I will have a lift in my garage, and a pool table in the basement.

There's no risk in that, especially since we've got these forums and the general internet as tools, but it's just not in my nature to not try and know everything I can. That way, the one day when I'm doodling around in an area that hasn't gotten too much home R&D, I can innovate with some Nawleege to draw on.
