hope this isnt too much to ask but may i hear your car to get a gauge on what the volume levels are like on the greddy exhausts? maybe at one of the meets if you happen to be going?

or if anybody else is running a greddy evo exhaust (or evo2). thanks in advance

-Pete

EDIT: Reason being that i might want to just go ahead and order a new one..

It's quiet dude. I heard Dr. Vortex's one on his STi... just deep... not loud at all.

lol...

you're funny!

if I'm not mistaken the reason why the greddy evo is so quite is that it has 2 resinators on the mid pipe.

It's quite if that's what your looking for...

why not just get recon for the exhaust you have already?

it might be more quite than the borla hush since the hush (correct me if i'm wrong hush owners) doesn't have 2 resinators on the mid pipe and has a smaller muffler with 2 tailpipes.

greddy evo has a very long and tall muffler with 1 tailpipe with 2 resinators on the midpipe.

Jon

i think borla only makes one exhaust for the sti, and it just has one big tip, like 4in i believe. i think josh has the hush though on the forester (which is the one jon was talking about) w/ 2 tailpipes. i have a borla on my sti, your more than welcome to come check it out...pretty quiet.

I had the borla hush prior to the greddy, and the borla is louder. Since I got the greddy used I went and got one of the resonators removed, and it got a little bit more of a growl now. Nothing big though

Both about the same to me.

I like the hush better because the Greddy has junk hangers.

BTW...Pete you can't drop your car...I scrapped like crazy leaving your place. Tell your folks to smooth out the incline at the end of your driveway.

I hope the borla doesn't charge more for the exhaust for the STi. that would suck
