My name is Bobby Wintrode and I am the tuner for Performance Race Engineering in Portland Oregon and I am visiting family in Maui and Oahu May 25- June 3 2012. I am curious if anyone would be interested in setting up a tune day on either island? I have tuned thousands of cars and some you may have seen in magazines. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer for you. Pricing will be depending on what system you need tuned on but most tunes will be 200 bucks for my time and Dyno rental is up to the owner of the car. I can do road tunes if your comfortable driving on the street while I tune. I can tune all kinds of cars from subaru's to srt4 neons to srt8 challengers. Let me know what you have.

Here is some info for you which may help.

The awd dyno is located here on oahu in waipahu. (Rad Motor Sports ask for reyn 808-680-9809)

Dyno time is usually $120 per hour on a set up tune date (so it would be best to set it up with them on the specific dates you want to tune)

thank you for the information. I am really interested in trying to make this a yearly thing since I am going to the islands to visit family any ways I figured it would be nice to hang out with some fellow car people and maybe be able to do some tuning at a discount and not do the typical thing where you have to fly a tuner out and pay for hotel and stuff. since I am already going and already have a place to stay I figured it could be a win win for everyone. thanks again for the info I will post up what comes of talking to them.

I spoke with the nice guys over at rad motorsports and if I get 5 cars together for tuning on a day then Dyno time will be about 140.00 per car. Let me know what works. I will be available june 1st or 2nd in Oahu.

Looks like my Green will be here, however I'm not sure if I'll have all my goodies installed by then. The guy I go to is a little swamped. I hope it works out though.

I will be on Oahu may 31- June 3 should be free Thursday or Friday evening to hang out. And Thursday or Friday morning for tuning. Heading to Maui this Friday and going to be there til Wednesday.
