ANYONE WANT TO GET JARRAD OUT HERE FOR A TUNING WEEKEND? I've been emailing with Forrest @ PDX about mail-order maps and I'd like to see if we could get something like a dyno day going here as well. I know this has been discussed but now we have a dyno so.....
I've sold my XEDE to a California guy who should be able to take advantage of it and now I'm doing the "Cobb dance "until they announce the V2 release dates. I'd go ahead and do the V1 but I at least want to see how long it will take before I order something. V1/V2 = same end result. So no money spent yet. (Sorry Myron!)
BUT, now that we have a dyno in the 50th state... Anyone wanna help me organize something? I'm not on Oahu but I'm sure that if someone over there wants to team up it would be managable.
Jarrad will tune Subies, Evos, and 350Z's. Haven't spoken with him directly yet as far as EM platforms. Forrest is getting me in touch with him shortly. But I'm sure I could get at least a few guys to come over from Big I...
discuss ......

Schweet.... I'm sure at least a few of us would want to go from Big I. I think that getting the cars there would not be that bad. I'll work on that this week as far as $$, timing of boats, etc.
Now trying not to get a million recon tickets from the dock to the dyno.... THAT would be hard. We'd be a feast for any officers within earshot. Just you and I alone are a recon-nightmare. lol
I'm willing to do all the legwork on this one guys... Seriously. Gauging interest for anyone that wants to get a tune from one of the most reputable tuners on the west coast.
No interest from Oahu? Really? I'm kinda suprised!!
I'm about to hit up the EVO boards... See if there is any interest over that side of the fence.

Totally agree; I was planning on bringing over Gadiel from P.R. but we just need 5 cars to be tuned with money up front,,,to myself,,,but did not work, it fell short,,,,
I was just trying to bring something good for you guys...since my tuning and installation, dyno runs will be back in P.R. cant wait...
Good Luck!!! Hopefully you guys can arrange this...

Thanks for the good wishes mates.. Depending on the minimum number of cars needed of course... we should be able to pull it off.
We're not in any hurry yet either . I haven't talked to Jarrad to get his schedule yet. Been emailing with Forrest@ pdx so far..
I had no idea that you were trying to bring Gadiel. I missed that. I definately understand what you were trying to do though..
So I'll just wait for now, patience is a virtue. (I'm so not virtuous..

Sup guys... Got an email from Jarrad with rates, talked to Cole @ Radmotorsport etc.
Jarrad's fees - $125/hr for dyno tuning. One hour minimum.
Dyno fees APPROX $100-125 hour.
Flight APPROX $600
Hotel - two nights... I have no idea. Anyone with hotel knowledge want to throw me a bone here?
Rental Car - Not needed. Jarrad tells me he spends all waking hours at the dyno anyway....
So, bare minimum, Jarrad would like 5 people for tuning. I figure that's an entire day at the dyno. Most of the interested parties on Big Island have specialized setups that would require 2 hours on the dyno.
AND.. I have 3 people from Big Island who are into it. That's fairly solid.
Any chance TWO people from Oahu would want in on this? Let me know! We still have tons of time for me to plan this out.. . . . ..
