There are mixed opinions on this turbo. They claim it spools like a 16g and flows like a 20g. Sounds like a good all around turbo to me, but most dyno results I see have similar results like a EVO 3 16g. Although, FP claims it outperforms the EVO 3. The greatest factor is the tune if you ask me.

I think a TD06 8cm^2 20g is the way to go.

If I had a choice I would go with the 20G option. However, I have seen many dynos showing this turbo is great. A guy made 371whp with pump on a 06sti, that's pretty decent.

Idk 16g like spool with 20g like power....I have seen a few threads that prove the claims made by fp....like MAP has a nice thread on nasioc about this turbo. So no local guys run this turbo? This seems like a great turbo for us here. I think this turbo on meth with the correct parts can be a very fun dd car

The thing is, it doesn't have 16g spool. Yes, spool is slightly better than a large 20g, but it still won't spool on a 2.0l until about 4k, and 3.8/3.5 on a 2.5l. If I am waiting until 4k anyway, might as well have some ***** when you get there ya know?

the only person i know here that bought one is ditchhanger(joey) but his sti is still in the building process so we wont know on hand experience till its done... from everything ive read its a great autox turbo for an sti. for the money i dont think its much better then a vf39, it will hold the power to reline but you can find vf39s for cheap

ok since NONE of you have the 68hta I do !!!! and I love it! mike at gst tuned it and it made 330whp 340wtq on the heartbreaker with a slipping clutch... I just had my act xtss kit put in and need to to back after 500 miles. Im sure it will go 350/360 now that the clutch is not slipping ..... It spools really fast almost too fast! It builds boost hard and fast 24psi before 3300....

Personally I would go FP red or FP green (if you use ONLY gas pump).
But it seems STi guys had trouble with it.

It is a great turbo!
