Mike,
this is what I was talking about today at work. I thought you all knew about this. I tried it last night and it works. Formula Ford on Oval is boring though.
It's possible to race any car on any track on XBOX LIVE. Follow these steps:
1. Create a session.
2. Go to "settings".
3. Select the series with the car you want to race (ex: DTM).
4. Press A to select that series.
5. Press "continue".
6. Go back to "settings".
7. Select the series with the tracks you want to race (ex: StockCar).
8. Press A to select that series.
9. Do NOT press continue. Go back into the series selection screen.
10. Select the series you had previously (ex: DTM).
11. Press A.
12. Press "continue".
13. Go to "track"
14. Press "X" to "reset championship"
15. Go to "track"
16. Select the track you want from those listed (ex: Texas)
And voila, you have any car at any track. In this case, you'd end up racing DTM cars at Texas.

that was fun while it lasted, but the collision has gotta go off.
got spun many times and took out tim a couple times too. that calamari73 guy was pissing me off, so 3rd lap of the last race, a nice long slide into him sideways to take his position was executed. very gratifying. anyways, collision off if i host. especiallly since driving styles vary, even though not "correct".

Driving styles vary a lot so collisons can be a real problem. I know i ticked off at least one person, so I actually started hanging back at the start for some of the races. That seemed to work well until someone elses driving style caused them to plow into me from the rear. Yea barry, you did once or twice, but it didn't spin me out of control (i.e. you were attempting to brake). I think this other person was using me as the brakes...
