i wanna download an emulator that will enable me to play the old-school video game sthat i grew up playing in the arcades. can some one help?? thanks. also any sites that will let me D/L games to run on my emulator. sorry if it sounds stupid, but i really don't know much about this stuff thanks

For older arcade games try mame. www.mame.net
Roms wise, there's a dedicated newsgroup, plus tons of sites (can't think of any off hand), I have to look, but I have a DVD around that I burned a ton of games onto.

After my computer crashed I never bothered to download the ROMS again. Now that you guys started talking about it I might have to go look for some ROMS. Yie Ar Kung-Fu might be my favorite game ever!!

You looking for the MAME ROM or just a playable version? They have the ROM at most ROM sites, but I have yet to find a playable version (I.E. Flash or Macromedia)
