Anyone here program Cisco routers for a living?

i know a little about routers and stuff, im an electrical engineering student. there is some good cisco books you can buy. im not cisco certified but i know some people who are. if you got any questions, pm me and ill try to get them answered.

i'm CCNA (there's CCNP and CCIE on top of that).
there are simulations you can play with to boot up, pwd recover, etc. the router. of course, get the Cisco CCNA books. it's really quite easy....at least until you get to the CCIE level. :gulp:

the pay is nowhere what it used to be. believe it or not, i took a course @ mission college here in the bay area to get my CCNA...it cost $2k. after i got the certification, i left the industry altogether. luckily, i got the CCNA only for fun/curiosity since my old company paid for it.
CCIE used to make $$$! with just a CCNA, you'll be competing with a lot of newcomers in the industry. that's when experience counts. goodluck.
