mine's sitting waiting for some new piping to be welded up. New manifold, uppipe/downpipe, turbo once thats all done I'll be saving every penny for a 6spd because I reallllyyy don't think my 5spd will hold, even as good as it's been to me so far.
Which block did you blow? the 257? if you want we can switch to PM that way we're not cluttering the boards lol.

Yes, the 257.

Hey, this thread is on a dead topic anyhow. I don't think anyone would mind idle chatter.

BTW, I'd give you my 6mt if I hadn't of bent the reverse shifter fork (and if it hadn't have cost me an arm and a ********.)

Yes.

Order of business is, 1) get home from the inlaws and purchase a hoist from a MWIC guy. Pull block (it's already prepped. Just needs to be pulled.) Inspect cylinder walls for any damage, esp. #4. If everything's ok, Quirt already has my money, so I can give him the go-ahead to ship them off, with rings. Continue on with the install.

1a) I'll need headgaskets, ARP studs, a replacement clutch for that hyper single kit, all exhaust gaskets.

2) Send trans to one of two places. Both will tear it apart, but one is closer and guarantees their work.

3) I have a 1990 Loyale that I just bought for $75. I'm going to try and see if it's not worthy of a complete power/drivetrain swap....then brakes, suspension, and a cage.

4) In the meantime, I might buy another (finance) another car to drive until I get one of the above two on the road. This one is intently to sell once I get something driveable.
