Wondering who saw his latest film Ponyo?
I don't wanna go out and buy it for $200 if it is'nt in line with his other films.

are you watching subtitled or english dubbed? the disney dubs are okay, but subtitled is the only way to really enjoy the films.

^word! My question would be: Are YOU a Miyazaki fan? If so, Ponyo's pretty tame to what you can usually expect as far as storyline, much more of a Disney film than most other Miyazaki films I've seen. Still it's pretty decent and if you've got kids, take 'em. I dunno why it'd cost you $200 to see this film, especially as the japanese version (prolly even in HD) is up round the netz. If you're gonna go out and buy it though the animation is all handrawn and it is stunning! Visually, it's another masterpiece!

Fiz,
Well, I like supporting industry. Too many people stealing free movies/music, and we won't have anything left.
And yes, I am a fan. I have his entire J region collection box set, plus a few that came out after and before. My favorite would have to be my neighbor totoro or princess mononoke. I like all of his films actually.
