Sorry dude...that won't happen. It's a pistol my dad gave to me and I rarely ever fire it. If I do, I have to find 190gr. wadcutters for it...
Historically, the .45ACP round is the round to use for stopping power. I guess in the mid 1980's they started to favor the 9mm round because of the amount of rounds that can be carried as well as making it standard to NATO. However, in recent years, Special Operations has realized the stopping power of the .45ACP round and the SOCOM Mk 23 won the competition. I know that Special Ops also uses other handguns (Sigs and M1911 clones) that are chambered for the .45ACP.

19 is my everyday con carry beat'um up firearm since its cheap, durable, light, and small. But I will have my 1911 soon!

Currently I own a Taurus PT140 .40 cal but have plans to buy a revolver and a AR over the next year or two.
I am looking at getting a SIG 556 as seen below. Or I may opt for a civilian M4 since I have used one throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom x3. Say what you want about an M4 not being reliable. I have put my Army issued one through hell and back. I did some experimenting with it during my first tour in Iraq from firing 30 to 60 rounds a day without cleaning for about 32 days straight and it still fired without any stoppage. Pretty good if you ask me..........

I just talked to a prior service recruiter. I have to fully get out of the Marine Corps and then the same day I raise my right hand for the Army. The Army luckily let me keep my job. That's pretty much in a nut shell. Alot of paper work.
