another wrx street race story
just coming back for ceasr, i am totally against street racing! I am a civic enthuiaist and will get a wrx within 6 months....today i rode in my friends civic (turbo) and was going to town @ 11 at night. we were just cruising down the freeway doing 60 and this red wrx pulls up and quickly speed in front of my friends civic and blinked him emergency light like 3 times to trigger my friend to race then my stupid friend got all pissed off and started to speed, i told him no but i wasnt driving so i couldnt do jack! i was disappointed @ him! then my friend caught up to him and started doing the light thing....back and forth ....back and forth......i thought this was so stupid of my "friend" and that red wrx that never even has his lights on...if you are here red wrx then stop street racing...take it to the tracks!

I completely agree with your stance on the street racing. The sad thing is, (or good thing, however you want to look at it), is that the person you saw probably isn't on these boards. Everyone here is pretty well spoken with their opinion on street racing.
I had the same type of thing happen coming home from the track tonight. A Jetta on H-1 speeding up, slowing down, blinking lights, etc... He had just come from the track as well. Stupid f&$ker trying to do that stuff when I have a 7 yr. old asleep in the back of my car.
If this red wrx IS on here....

There's a A$$hole on every corner....... them I had the ricer fly by today by a green integra with some gay alteezas I just kept my speed and thought to myself you wouldn't have a chance then I turned up the tunes.....

hey man, i hear ya! i get that all the time and i get kinda pissed off. last night while going to the club, there was a mustang getting crazy with me and i just maintained my 55mph on the highway. it's really stupid and i wish some people would just grow up. do they even learn from other people's mistakes? guess not. i just want to clear up the fact that i have a red '02 wrx and that wasn't me. i wouldn't do some dumb act like flashing the emergency lights and provoke something like that. i just want to clarify since i must have one of the very few red '02 wrx's on the island, as far as i can see. what kind of lights did this one have?

i must admit though, i do drive a bit reckless, but who doesn't with a WRX. i only do it for breif periods and if it wouldn't endanger anybody else but myself. 
as for calling out people and racing others and stuff, i'm wayyyy to old to be doing that, although once in a while my friend and i just do it for kicks and again, just for breif moments where it's pretty safe, but this goes back to those RC car days.
