Welcome! Nice to see another late model. Look forward to seein your ride at one of the meets. If I ever get time to go back out to one.

Speaking of fedex. I hope they stop by my place early tomorrow and drop off my new shoes.

COBB downpipe, it's a super nice piece. What's an average price for tinting around here guys? Also, I can only go 35% if I don't want to rip it off every year or find someone to pass me on the DL, yeah?

Yup, 35% is the lowest you can legally go.

Is your cobb dp catted? I'm highly tempted to go stage 2 if I can get numbers like yours :thumbs up:

Yeah it's catted. Couple things to consider: My numbers are on a dynoed custom tune from Tim Bailey who is one of the premier Subaru tuners and was done up in Portland Oregon with an ambient temperature of about 55* so they are really good for what they are. It's also a stage 2 "lite" as I don't have a catback, only a downpipe. Also, an intake would help me hold boost up top, you can see on the graph I believe that I have a fair amount of boost taper so I could be making better peak HP with an intake. Here in Hawaii a better intercooler will go a long way towards efficiency since it's pretty much always hot.

So basically what I'm saying is you should definitely do it, I would just get an intake with it, an intercooler if you can swing it and get it custom tuned, for sure. A catback is your choice depending on how much noise you want to/can live with. 08+ catbacks don't flow that bad. You'll be putting down some great numbers and it's like driving a whole different car. They also tune your drive by wire map since it SUCKS from the factory. Have you noticed that your throttle response is weird off the line, like from stoplight to stoplight?

Sorry for the book, I'm a car nerd.

it is 35% + or - 6% so 29% is actually the darkest legal and thats what i have on my rex.

Just know that as time goes on, your tint will degrade, leaving you with under the legal limit tint levels.
