AMSOIL is really good stuff!
I just got synthetic put in my car after 1000 miles of break in. Also got amsoil gear tranny lube put in too...over at chucks corvette service shop on ward AVE right next to that shell station....he hooked me up with some good stuff....now I cant wait for the auto X
Im running 0-30wt and the engine definently revs more freely and boosts quicker.
The oil says you don't have to change it until 35K miles or once a year....whichever comes first
My friend reccomended this brand to me after he had his 300ZX TT for 100K miles and beat the **** out of his motor.... when they took his engine apart there was hardly any wear....and the mech. freaked out....could not believe it.....and the turbos were in good shape too....
so if anyone wants this great stuff for your car....go see chuck and tell him Jeremy sent you

Redline also has
extended drain intervals, but unless you have a really expensive oil filter to support the drain interval, I still think you're making a mistake.

Not sure
For me I can't see spending the amount of money that Redline, Amsoil, or Royal purple cost and change it every 3k but if you have the money then go for it. For me Mobil 1 works just fine yea it's not much cheaper but a little and changin it every 3k it all good. I use a Fram filter I've always used Fram and never had any problems so I stick with what works. But if anybody has any suggestions for a better Oil filter my ears are open I know Fram aren't the best.

Who cares
No big deal, it works for me never had a problem with Fram. I wanted a OEM filter but didn't fell like drivin downtown to Schuman to get it and Five star didn't have any they only had some Napa filters thats what they use... So whats a good oil filter then? If there is a real good one then I'll try it just let me know what everybody reccomends. Next time though I'm just gonna get a Subaru filter and be done with it.

I just had Schuman Waipahu change my oil. I initially wanted royal purple as I was told it's the best by a lot of guys. The service manager told me that mobile 1 synthetic is better and showed less wear in his experience. A mechanic friend also said that mobile 1 synthetic is the best.

You might check this filter,
http://www.cmfilters.com/ I would like to mount a remote filter, but don't a lot of space in the engine bay, except above the turbo.

Wow. Even if the claim is true, I don't think I could break myself from the 3-7.5k oil change habit I've built up over the years.
