haha, awesome. TOo bad that looks the best on black / white cars..

Back when I first got my 04, I overdid a spray tint job on my taillights making them black like yours .. But the effect is ruined with the "circle" that sticks out on the 04's.

: /

I still think about doing a light coat from time to time, but remember the fact that it is not an easily reversible mod, and I can't pass safety check .

Otherwise, it looks pretty mean man. Although I am curious as others are, what technique was used on those lights? VHT Niteshades? Pactra/Testors Transparent Black? JDM paint? Or, is it custom covers?

Hey,

I wouldn't mind doing my side markers dark to match my black car, and my rear lights a much lighter "grey", not completely black. I don't want to completely mask the red in the rear lights as my brakes, seats, intercooler hoses,etc are red. I'm pretty sure I know what you used, but pm me. I keep secrets for a living.

i tried tinted film, did that with my old car a 240 it worked cuz the lights were more flat, i went ot walmart and bought 5% tint to try tint the tail lights, but it just didn't work, so i used another technique

I wanna know I totally junked the idea of tinting my lights before because I got so fed up, but if your way works for these stupid circles .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .............pm? rofl.

All you need is a heat gun to get the tint to work better
