Alternative Tuning Solution III
alright people, I'm going to try to get Dom from getadomtune.com (aka maxwell power) down here again but I need your help. Dom used to live here for a few years and beta tested the hydra before it was public. I need 6 or more people that wants to have their car tuned. The last time we did this it was a great success with everyone happy in the end (Subaru and Mitsubishi). Drive-ability and safety is Dom's goal. At the present moment there is no date set since I'm waiting for my parts to arrive and to see how much interest there is. I hope to have this tune around Mid to late March or early April. Things could change based on Dom's schedule and if my parts are here . The more people the cheaper it'll be per person but only so many people can be tuned in the 3 days. The cost is dependent on the divided plane cost and tune per person and possibly his hotel room. The cars will be tuned via OPEN SOURCE (unless you have different EM already). If you do have existing EM already I'd have to ask if he's able to tune them.
I know he's able to tune the following:
OpenSource
AccessPort
Hydra (If you have one or want one of these tuned it will take more time. It will also be more expensive)
When/If this goes down I will be asking for a deposit to hold your spot. No deposit no tune.
He will be bringing his own equipment (i.e. tuning laptop, cables, WB02...etc.) but if you have a WB02 installed in your car already it'll make things faster. You WILL need to install the WB02 sensor before the tuning session begins if you don't have one. Expect to do it yourself.
This tune will not be on the dyno due to the additonal fees and permission we need to get. It should be obvious already on how this is happening.
I'll start compiling the list of people interested and will keep you updated on when/if this happens.

DOM is the frikin man!! Not to put down the other tuners but this guy is really reputable and seen him in action more than once and all I have to say is Wow!! Even for those 4EAT 205 guys, he does a great job smoothing all things out. Just check his background history and he is very very Knowledgeable in the Flat 4 motors. Unfortunately, I dont think ill make this years Tune with him.

bump! come on guys.
Just to give you an idea on how good of a tuner he is... Since the day I had my car tuned, my ECU hasn't made any corrections at all and my IAM stays at 16. I tuned my car over a year ago (over a year by a few days).

honestly it depends on the interest. We planned it for new till mid next month however without anyone really interested in tuning it's surely to be postponed further.
