Howzit, folks!!! I'm on this beautiful slightly smaller rock and am totally bored already. I miss you bastards already! I don't know ANYBODY here and have resorted to Forums Hawaii looking for answers. I've driven around and that seems to be the only joy so far. Driving up to Hanalei was awesome. The scenery here is incredible. I also drove up Kokee through Waimea Canyon. AWESOME drive. I'm not speeding or anything, but the turns up there make Tantalus look like a Wal-Mart parking lot. Needless to say, my arms are tired and sore.....you know........from steering. The only Subies I've seen so far here are all rentals and old GL wagons. I stick out like a sore thumb here. I get a LOT of "WTF is that" looks. Over here, it's all Honda/Acura and lifted trucks. However, with all this rain I really appreciate my AWD Subie.

There are a BUNCH or tourists on this island, especially around where I live. There are already 2 or 3 scenic points just on the road to my house, which is just past Opaekaa Falls.

If anybody has tried to call me yet, sorry but there is no cell phone reception where I live.......for T-Mobile. I will be switching over to Cingular pretty soon.

well, in about 3 hours, I'll be officially starting work as the owner/director or JEMS Pacific Gallery in Kapaa. Wish me luck, people! I'll be keeping in touch. Hope everything's well on Oahu.
