Almost there! 12.361 et

During the best run of the night, my intercooler hose popped off, the car died, and rolled to the finish line.

Reaction .834
60 ft 1.802
1/8 et 8.009
1/8 mph 88.88
1/4 et 12.361
1/4 mph 112.18

I tried a few more times with a new PB trap of 114.49 mph, but my inconsistent launches allowed only a 12.506 et.

Reaction 1.197
60 ft 1.880
1/8 et 8.110
1/8 mph 90.40
1/4 et 12.506
1/4 mph 114.49

Seems like I run better on lower boost off the line, it's a shame that I wasn't paying attention to my boost and rpm during my best run. I hope I have better luck next week.

If you don't mind, I'm going to amend the original post I made about you over on Nasioc.

Chibby,

nice run! I think if you get that thing tuned a bit, you'll be looking at very low 12s and probably 11s. Not an easy trick on island.

GOOG GOD just think if there was a dyno on island and some serious tuning could be done I think you'd be in the high 11s for sure...

Thanks guys!

Wes, I remember a post where either you or one of the old schoolers had mentioned that they drive around the water spot on the ground. I did that last night and kept my tires as dry as possible. Other than that, every thing was the same.

For the 12.361 et, I actually reved lower on the launch and I didn't spin as much as I usually do, but for some reason, I couldn't duplicate that technique on other attempts.

Jason, how'd you know?
