it's such a coincidence that on july 4th, and the launching of the discovery, that north korea would fire six missles, according to them, they were just "test missles" and one of them the tapaedong2 (nuke war head) Lets face it, north korea don't like the US, i'm pretty sure if we were any closer, war would have broke out long ago. Now of course, if I were North Korea, who would I attack with my new long range nuke capable of reaching 6000 miles? Hawaii of course. One way of weakening of the state is to attack its muscle, for god sakes 30% of our economy is made up of military, we have the strongest naval fleet in the pacific. It would just be a waste to attack alaska, even though they are geographically closer. Why did Japan in the midst of world war 2 attack pearl harbor? with hawaii gone, that would ultimatley disable our whole pacific connection with Japan and South Korea.

hmmm

A Japanese newspaper said they were aiming the missile towards Hawaii. How do they know?? I think they wanted nothing more than to test the guidance system and see if they had the capability. It was not a scare tactic or a threat. If they wanted to make a threat they would have aimed it towards Japan and then turned it away before it reached Japanese airspace. Ultimately they may be working towards getting the missile to U.S. soil but that was not the motive for these launches. Obviously they have some work to do but the test was surely not a failure

Don't they realize who they're fitzin with? I can only imagine the repurcussions from pokin the 100/442nd in the eye. I don't think it'd be but a couple of days before the Band of Samoans obliterated everything and everyone north of the 38th para.

the big issue now is the guidance system. you can lob a turd in the general direction of the enemy but your chances of hitting what you want or what is important is pretty slim. if you can guide a missile to the target then you have a new found power over the enemy. in this case n. korea is so far behind with technology that with a capable missile they will be more or less on par with other countries

You guys do realize that there are probably a whole bunch of nukes aimed at Hawaii right? Hawaii is a big time target.

Anyways, North Korea needs to spend all these billions of dollars on food for its poor rather than bombs. NK is one of the worst countries to live in because most of the governments money goes to the military. The funny thing is that the US and other foreign nations give foreign aid to NK because of the horrible conditions that the people have to live in...then the money gets spent on Kim Jong Il's Bentleys and blow jobs.

So, President Bush needs to cut off all foreign aid to NK and start sending some missiles their way...and we all know "Dubya" is always down to blow **** up.
