i heard the compression ratio were pretty high on those bad boys....that motor must be nuke proof to have boost added....of course there's good tuning, that will always help....

... and It's not nuke proof!
It's called runing low boost and doing it with the CORRECT setup. (Something you haven't done Hugh!!! lol!)

and now the project is on hold.

well during these times i rather be safe than sorry....the last thing i need is a blown motor....if you guys look up hayscoob on NASIOC....he blew his motor at 4.5lbs boost and they still didn't find the problem....tom said it was probably the fuel setup was installed wrong...and as you guys might know....my fuel was hooked up incorrectly....thank God that my motor didn't go...especially after 2 track days....right now i'm still not 100% sure that everything is hooked up correctly....and being a working college student....i don't really want to do anything risky just yet....i guess it was a really bad time to have bought a kit in the first place...that's my fault... that's the penalty i have to pay....to run like crap....at least i know i'm running safe....and 2 fouled o2 sensors and a boost leak somewhere isn't really helping the situation at all....i've been told that people usually don't put a gasket where the uppipe connects to the wastegate cause it doesn't make much of a difference....i don't know who to believe now....

p.s. Watch the rear diff...I ve heard of a lot of folks running into problems with FI on s2ks using gears though.
